
Futures contracts for natural gas traded on the American exchange rose during the European session on Tuesday. According to the New York Mercantile Exchange, the price of futures contracts for April reached $1.77 per million British thermal units, up by 0.74% at the time of writing. Earlier, contracts traded higher at $1.78 per million British thermal units. Natural gas is expected to find support at $1.743 and resistance at $1.955.
On the NYMEX, the price of crude oil for April rose by 0.76% to $78.52 per barrel, while the price of heating oil for the same month increased by 0.91% to $2.68 per gallon. As for currencies, the dollar index, which measures the performance of the US currency against a basket of six major currencies, rose by 0.01% to $102.47.
